Fed up of my old battered gaming sofa and springs digging in my backside, I decided I needed a fancy new gaming chair for playing Xbox and watching TV. I had just received an email from All-Up-And-On to check out their range of Fatboy Beanbags, so off I went.

The first thing I noticed was the massive range of colours these things come in. Most beanbag manufacturers offer only a small choice of colours but not the Fatboy… 15 different colours to choose from including some nice subdued colours and some really lairy shades. To anyone who knows me, the choice of colour was obvious and a bright orange Fatboy was winging its way to me.

Now £149 may seem steep for a beanbag, but the Fatboy is no ordinary beanbag. The name speaks for itself, this thing is huge! I’m not a small guy but this beanbag completely engulfed my ample frame with room to spare. The price was also a lot cheaper than many of the dedicated “gaming chairs” I’d previously been eyeing up and this beanbag is way more comfortable. Also, not many gaming chairs can be used as a spare bed either… Bonus!

Would I recommend the Fatboy? Damn right I would. This is one hell of a chair and amongst all the flashy pieces of furniture I’ve ever sat on, this one has to be the most comfortable. I’ve even started using the Fatboy as a PC chair at my desk. Who needs a computer chair when you have the Fatboy? Get one as a Chrismas gift for that special lazy person in your life.
